Computation of winding ends leakage inductance
1997 IEEE International Electric Machines and Drives Conference Record, 2002A new half-analytical method is presented for the accurate calculation of the winding ends leakage inductance in rotating electrical machines with wound armatures, based on the integration of Maxwell's magnetic equations in the free space, magnetic images and surface distributions for modelling the effect of the slots and of the air gap.
