Electrospun Core–Shell Bioadhesive Nanofiber Sheets Enable Durable Pulmonary Air Leak Sealing Under Wet and Dynamic Conditions

A core–shell electrospun nanofiber sheet provides strong adhesion and durable sealing on the wet and dynamic lung surface. The engineered fibrous architecture maintains airtight integrity and offers a potential alternative to fibrin sealants for pulmonary air leak management in thoracic surgery.
