On singularity of distribution of random variables with independent symbols of Oppenheim expansions

open access: yesModern Stochastics: Theory and Applications, 2017
The paper is devoted to the restricted Oppenheim expansion of real numbers ($\mathit{ROE}$), which includes already known Engel, Sylvester and Lüroth expansions as partial cases.

Multilinear strongly singular integral operators on non-homogeneous metric measure spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2022
Let ( X , d , μ ) $(X,d,\mu )$ be a non-homogeneous metric measure space satisfying the geometrically and upper doubling measure conditions. In this paper, the boundedness in Lebesgue spaces for multilinear strongly singular integral operators on non ...

On Landau-Kolmogorov type inequalities for charges and their applications

open access: yesResearches in Mathematics, 2023
In this article we prove sharp Landau-Kolmogorov type inequalities on a class of charges defined on Lebesgue measurable subsets of a cone in $\mathbb{R}^d$, $d\geqslant 1$, that are absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue measure.

Investigating Tuberculosis Dynamics Under Various Control Strategies: A Comprehensive Analysis Using Real Statistical Data

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the present investigation, a mathematical model with vaccination, treatment, and environmental impact under real data is presented. Initially, we present the model without any interventions, followed by an examination of its equilibrium points.

A marriage theorem with lebesgue measure

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A, 1993
Let \(S\subseteq[0,1]\times[0,1]\) be such that every point has density one and \(| S(J)|\geq| J|\) for every measurable \(J\subseteq[0,1]\). Then for every \(\varepsilon>0\) there is a one-to-one \(f\subseteq S\) defined on some set of measure \(1-\varepsilon\) such that \(| f(J)|=| J|\) for every measurable subset of the domain.

On Compressible Fluid Flows of Forchheimer‐Type in Rotating Heterogeneous Porous Media

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study the dynamics of compressible fluids in rotating heterogeneous porous media. The fluid flow is of Forchheimer‐type and is subject to a mixed mass and volumetric flux boundary condition. The governing equations are reduced to a nonlinear partial differential equation for the pseudo‐pressure.

Fractional type Marcinkiewicz integrals over non-homogeneous metric measure spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
The main goal of the paper is to establish the boundedness of the fractional type Marcinkiewicz integral M β , ρ , q $\mathcal{M}_{\beta,\rho,q}$ on non-homogeneous metric measure space which includes the upper doubling and the geometrically doubling ...

Monadic Second Order Logic with Measure and Category Quantifiers [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2018
We investigate the extension of Monadic Second Order logic, interpreted over infinite words and trees, with generalized "for almost all" quantifiers interpreted using the notions of Baire category and Lebesgue measure.

On the Approximation Properties of Modified Bernstein–Kantorovich Operators and Their Subfamilies

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Motivated by the construction of Bernstein–Kantorovich operators preserving affine functions, we introduce a Bernstein–Kantorovich type operators 𝒯n,m together with its subfamilies 𝒯∗n,m, 𝒯∗n,2m−1 and 𝒯∗n,2m. We investigate and compare their approximation properties with the other Bernstein–Kantorovich operators. Our analysis demonstrates that,

Optimal Control Analysis of Vertically Transmitted Infectious Diseases With Saturated Incidence and Nonlinear Treatment

open access: yesOptimal Control Applications and Methods, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of the proposed disease transmission model incorporating vertical transmission, saturated incidence, and nonlinear treatment. The study combines theoretical analysis, bifurcation and stability investigations, and optimal control techniques to evaluate prevention and treatment interventions.
