Two new species of the lichen genus Strangospora (Lecanoromycetes: Strangosporaceae) from India

Phytotaxa
Strangospora himalayana and S. submoriformis are described as new species from India. Both the species have thin, greyish thallus, poorly developed exciple, K–, N– epithecium and simple, hyaline, globose ascospores. Further, Strangospora himalayana has a

Taxonomic revision of Xanthomendoza borealis and Xanthoria mawsonii (Lecanoromycetes, Ascomycota)

The Lichenologist, 2008
Abstract:The xanthorioid taxa Xanthomendoza borealis and Xanthoria mawsonii are revised using morphological, anatomical, secondary chemical, and molecular characters. A new classification for the family Graphidaceae (Ascomycota: Lecanoromycetes: Ostropales)

Fungal Diversity, 2011
A revised classification for the emended family Graphidaceae is proposed, based on recent phylogenetic studies, including the finding that three previously separated families (Asterothyriaceae, Gomphillaceae, Thelotremataceae) are nested within Graphidaceae and in part polyphyletic.

Upper cortex anatomy corroborates phylogenetic hypothesis in species of Physconia (Ascomycota, Lecanoromycetes)

Mycological Research, 2007
A phylogenetic and taxonomic study of the Physconia distorta morphotype complex was undertaken using ITS nu-rDNA as a molecular marker to re-evaluate this group. The analysis incorporated several samples of European P. distorta and also of American and European populations, recently named as P. americana.
