Mycologia, 1984
A lectotype for Glomus microcarpum, chosen from among the original materials collected by the Tulasnes, is described and illustrated. The lectotypes of G. microcarpum, G. fasciculatum, and G. macrocarpum, are compared morphologically and found to differ distinctly.

The Lectotype of Lepianthes Raf. (Piperaceae)

Taxon, 1987
SummarySince Howard (J. Arnold Arb. 54: 380. 1973) did not designate a lectotype for the generic name Lepianthes Raf., it is argued that the first explicit and effective lectotypification of the name is Lepianthes granulosum (Ruiz & Pavon) Raf. (=Piper granulosum Ruiz & Pavon). Lepianthes Raf. is then a synonym of Piper L.

The Canadian Entomologist, 1961
During the month of August, 1960, I had the opportunity of studying the extensive collection of ant-lions at the Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. This collection contains most of the type material of Nathan Ranks and Hermann Hagen. In many cases only syntypes were present which necessitated the desicgnation of lectotypes.
