Impact of Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Fractional Flow Reserve on 5‐Year Clinical Outcomes (The FFR SEARCH Study)

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fractional flow reserve (FFR) following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can be used to evaluate procedural success and to guide stent optimization. Several studies have demonstrated that lower FFR after stent implantation is associated with increased adverse event rates up to 2 years.

Chemoselective or Regioselective?

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
The current definitions of chemoselectivity and regioselectivity lack sufficient clarity and allow for the ambiguous labeling of reported reaction selectivities in some instances. This article proposes a rationale and simplified definitions of these terms that will facilitate an unambiguous description of the observed reaction selectivity.

No Matter What Energy Input: Tetradentate PNNP‐Ligated Iridium Complexes for CO2 Reduction

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Tetradentate PNNP‐ligated Ir complexes serve as multifunctional catalysts for CO2 reduction, demonstrating exceptional efficiency across photochemical, thermal, and electrochemical systems. By tailoring ligand structures, these catalysts enable selective and durable CO2 conversion under light, heat, and electricity, providing a versatile and unified ...

Strategies towards synthesis and conversion of lignin model compounds

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
The push towards a renewable society where the chemicals being used on a daily basis come from sources which are not going to be depleted within the next few decades is highly sought after. Biomass is one of the most promising opportunities to establish self‐sustainability for the human race.
