Water‐Assisted Exfoliation of HfO2‐Based Membrane for Flexible Robust Ferroelectric Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A flexible freestanding HfO2‐based ferroelectric membrane is achieved via a water‐assisted exfoliation technique using a Sr4Al2O₇ sacrificial layer. The BaTiO3/Hf0.5Zr0.5O2/BaTiO3 heterostructure maintains robust ferroelectricity and exhibits reliable synaptic plasticity.

Discovering Interpretable Semantics from Radio Signals for Contactless Cardiac Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a semantic representation framework for clinically interpretable cardiac monitoring from contactless radio signals. It formulates radio semantic learning as an information‐bottleneck problem and approximates the objective via intra‐modal compression and cross‐modal alignment, structuring radio measurements into meaningful semantic ...

Transthoracic Echocardiography as a Tool for Early Detection of Atrial Fibrillation in Patients Receiving Ibrutinib

open access: yesLife
Background: Bruton’s tyrosine kinase inhibitors, particularly ibrutinib, have improved outcomes in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia but are associated with an increased risk of atrial fibrillation.

Bioinspired Cold‐Laminated Ultrathin Hydrogels as a Broadly Adaptive Platform for Physiological Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cold‐lamination strategy is introduced to fabricate ultrathin, nanomesh‐reinforced hydrogel bioelectronics with controlled thickness, tunable mechanics, and reversible adhesion. By mechanically interlocking a TPU nanomesh within a temperature‐responsive hydrogel, the platform enables robust epidermal and implantable cardiac interfaces, supporting ...

Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction: identifying presence by left atrial function

open access: yesEcho Research and Practice, 2018
Objective: The left atrium (LA) is exposed to left ventricular pressure during diastole. Applying the 2016 American Society of Echocardiography left ventricular diastolic function (LVDF) guidelines, this study aims to investigate whether left atrial ...

Role of atrial receptors in the control of sodium excretion [PDF]

open access: yes
Responses of an innervated and a contralateral chronically denervated kidney to mild positive pressure breathing are compared for saline volume expansions in chloralose anesthetized dogs.

Gel‐Amin for Improving Extracellular Recordings of Cardiomyocytes in a 3D Microphysiological System

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work combines a conductive collagen‐based hydrogel with a laser‐cut and assembly technique to fabricate microphysiological systems that improve extracellular recordings of cardiomyocytes in 3D on microelectrode arrays. The inclusion of choline acrylate into GelMA imparts a higher electrical conductivity and improves the signal‐to‐noise ratio of on‐

Progress in the application of cardiac magnetic resonance to predict recurrence of atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation: A systematic review and meta-analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cardiology: Heart & Vasculature
Background: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess changes in left atrial structure and function at baseline and after catheter ablation and their association with atrial fibrillation recurrence using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (
