“Left Atrial Myxoma - A Tumor in Transit”
Cardiac myxoma is the most common type of primary cardiac neoplasm. Over 70% of all cardiac myxomas originate from the left atrium (LA) and 18% from the right atrium (RA). Most myxomas present with constitutional, embolic, and obstructive manifestations. We are presenting a case where a part of myxoma got embolized intra-operatively.

Left Atrial Myxoma with an Atrial Septal Defect: Report of a case
A case of a left atrial myxoma presented unusual features including (1) association with an atrial septal defect, (2) attachment of the myxoma to the posterior wall of the left atrium, (3) probable paradoxical pulmonary embolization from the left atrium,

Hemodynamic features of prolapsing and nonprolapsing left atrial myxoma
In the course of the evaluation of five patients with left atrial myxoma, it was noted that the movement of the myxoma was related to specific changes in left atrial hemodynamics. Prolapsing tumors, Type I, move from the left ventricle to the left atrium

Left Atrial Myxoma Hypervascularized from the Right Coronary Artery: An Interesting Cath Lab Finding
Primary cardiac tumors are rare and approximately half of them are atrial myxomas. They rarely remain asymptomatic, especially if large. The imaging of a myxoma by contrast dye during coronary angiography is an infrequent sign, which clarifies the ...
