Exercise-Induced Bundle Branch Block - an Infrequent Incidence

open access: yesNepalese Medical Journal, 2020
We describe an elderly woman who underwent a treadmill test preoperatively and was found to have Exercise-induced Left Bundle Branch Block without chest pain. Coronary angiogram was done which revealed a 70% stenosis in the fi rst diagonal branch of Left

Thermally Induced Gelling Systems Based on Patchy Polymeric Micelles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
A novel strategy to design thermally induced gelling systems with tunable material properties is reported. Polymeric mixed‐shell micelles displaying multiple thermosensitive patchy domains formed hydrogels by assembling into well‐entangled worm‐like network structures upon heating to body temperature. The patchy micelle design significantly affects the

Ventricular Electrical Delay Measured From Body Surface ECGs Is Associated With Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Response in Left Bundle Branch Block Patients From the MADIT-CRT Trial (Multicenter Automatic Defibrillator Implantation-Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy)

open access: yesCirculation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology, 2018
Background: Although cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is beneficial in heart failure patients with left bundle branch block, 30% of these patients do not respond to the therapy.

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Versatile Cell Penetrating Peptide for Multimodal CRISPR Gene Editing in Primary Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
CRISPR machinery in diverse molecular formats (DNA, RNA, and ribonucleic protein) is complexed into nanoparticles with the cell‐friendly arginine‐alanine‐leucine‐alanine (RALA) cell‐penetrating peptide. Nanoparticles are delivered to primary mesenchymal stem cells ex vivo or locally in vivo to facilitate multimodal CRISPR gene editing. This RALA‐CRISPR

Bidirectional ventricular tachycardia in cardiac sarcoidosis. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A 73-year-old man with history of pulmonary sarcoidosis was found to have runs of non-sustained bidirectional ventricular tachycardia (BVT) with two different QRS morphologies on a Holter monitor.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

Idiopathic Fascicular Ventricular Tachycardia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Idiopathic fascicular ventricular tachycardia is an important cardiac arrhythmia with specific electrocardiographic features and therapeutic options. It is characterized by relatively narrow QRS complex and right bundle branch block pattern. The QRS axis
