Selective Oxidation Strategies for Cost‐Efficient Green Hydrogen Production via Hybrid Water Electrolysis

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Hybrid water electrolysis has emerged as a promising alternative to conventional electrolysis for sustainable hydrogen production. The economic potential of replacing water oxidation with organic substrates is assessed. For each substrate, representative electrocatalysts and mechanistic insights are reviewed to identify design principles for optimized ...

A Strategic Action Plan to Advance Circular Economy Practices in the Automotive Industry Based on Sector Insights to Support Sustainable Development

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The circular economy is gaining traction as a transformative approach to address climate change and the shortcomings of the linear economic model, which is defined by unsustainable production and consumption patterns. This study explores the implementation of circularity principles in the Spanish automotive industry, with particular attention ...

Right bundle branch block pattern after uncomplicated right ventricular outflow tract pacing in a patient with a left sided superior vena cava and corrected tetralogy of Fallot

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2018
Usually an electrocardiogram after right ventricular (RV) pacing should yield left bundle branch block (LBBB) pattern. However, the presence of right bundle branch block (RBBB) pattern after pacemaker implantation should alert the physician to a ...

Left bundle branch pacing in third-degree atrioventricular block following morrow surgery: a case report

open access: yesFrontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine
Left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) has proven to be an alternative method for delivering physiological pacing to achieve electrical synchrony of the left ventricle (LV), especially in patients with atrioventricular block and left bundle branch block (LBBB).

Topography constrains the climatic response of treeline migration in Taiwan's subalpine forests

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Treelines are moving upslope, but the rates and drivers differ among different regions, globally. Many studies have examined the relationship between treeline movement and climate change, particularly rising temperature, while the role of topographical factors has received much less attention, despite the longstanding recognition of its importance.

Dual‐Functional Sulfonated Nanocellulose for Proton Exchange Membranes With High Proton Conductivity at Low Humidity

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A scalable dual‐functional strategy yields simultaneously sulfonated and nanosized cellulose for proton exchange membranes with continuous hydrogen‐bond networks. These sustainable membranes exhibit low‐humidity proton conductivity twofold higher than Nafion 212, providing a robust solution for next‐generation fuel cells.

Case Report: Left bundle branch area pacing in cardiac resynchronization therapy increases conduction velocity

open access: yesFrontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine
Several studies have suggested that the application of left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) in cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) holds promise as a treatment modality for correcting left bundle branch block (LBBB) while concurrently enhancing ...
