Digoxin Alleviates Osteoarthritis by Inhibiting Macrophage Extracellular Trap Formation via Disruption of the LSP1‐SOD1 Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Synovial macrophages in osteoarthritis upregulate LSP1, which directly binds and inhibits SOD1, triggering a redox imbalance that activates both NOX and mitochondrial ROS pathways. This cascade drives the release of macrophage extracellular traps (METs), causing chondrocyte damage and disease progression.

Electronic‐State Programming of Ultrasmall CeO2 Switches H2O2 Activation From Radical to Bio‐Inspired Nonradical 1O2 Generation for Combating Antibiotic Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A scalable synthesis of carbon‐supported ultrasmall CeO2 nanoparticles with precisely tunable Ce electron density is reported. Electron‐lean Ce sites activate H2O2 exclusively via a nonradical pathway, enabling efficient HOBr and 1O2 production analogous to bromoperoxidase for contaminant and antibiotic resistance removal.

Targeting Nupr1‐Mediated p53 Mitochondrial Sequestration Alleviates Aortic Dissection by Restoring the Gadd45b‐Dependent Survival Program

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies Nupr1 as a crucial stress‐responsive orchestrator driving AD. Under severe stress, Nupr1 massively accumulates within mitochondria to sequester p53, triggering apoptosis and concurrently repressing the Gadd45b‐mediated survival program.

Parahisian and left bundle pacing

open access: yes
As cardiac conduction abnormalities and heart failure prevalence rise globally, optimizing resyn-chronization becomes increasingly important. In the context of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), this thesis explores two physiological pacing methods- parahisian pacing (PHP, Syn: his -bundle area pacing HBAP) and left bundle branch area pacing ...
