Persistent Left Superior Vena Cava and Central Venous Feeding

European Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 2008
The dangers of left-sided superior vena cava have received insufficient attention in the literature on central venous catheterisation. Three infants have recently been encountered with this anomaly in a series of 160 central venous catheterisations . This is much higher than the reported incidence of the anomaly.

Left Brachiocephalic Vein Perforation After Central Venous Catheterisation

Turkish Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation, 2016
Central venous hemodialysis catheter applications are still the most common route for acute hemodialysis and some complications may be seen at the time of insertion or later and some of these may be fatal. Catheter malpositions and great vessel perforations have an important place among these complications.

[Sudden left-sided vision loss. Occlusion of the left central retinal artery].

Praxis, 2001
A 77 year old female patient was admitted to our hospital because of a rapid onset left-sided visual loss. Occlusion of the left central retinal artery was confirmed by the consultant ophthalmologist. The patient was further evaluated to exclude a thromboembolic event. Chest x-ray was consistent with pulmonary hypertension.

N-centralizing generalized derivations on left ideals *

2012
Let R be a prime ring with center Z(R), right Utumi quotient ring U and extended centroid C, S be a non-empty subset of R and n ≥ 1 a fixed integer. A mapping f : R → R is said to be n-centralizing on S if [f(x), xn] ε Z(R), for all x ε S. In this paper we will prove that if F is a non-zero generalized derivation of R, I a non-zero left ideal of R, n ≥
