Isolated Biventricular Noncompaction in an adult with severe pulmonary hypertension : an association reviewed. [PDF]
Biventricular noncompaction is a recently recognized rare form of cardiomyopathy. It is characterized by altered structure of myocardial wall as a result of intrauterine arrest of compaction of the myocardial fibers in absence of coexisting congenital

Mitochondria‐endoplasmic reticulum contact sites (MERCS) are areas where the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum closely interact. In this study, we utilize synthetic organelle glues to artificially engineer MERCS for regulating cardiomyocyte development, through which the immature and chemo‐plasticity issues of undifferentiated cells are addressed.

ABSTRACT Sinus venosus defect (SVD) is a rare congenital heart anomaly characterised by an abnormal communication between the atria, often associated with partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC). Traditional surgical repair carries significant risks, prompting exploration into less invasive transcatheter approaches.

ABSTRACT Index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) is a cutting‐edge, wire‐based tool that advances the capability assessment of coronary microvascular function. By utilizing distal coronary pressure and mean transit time under maximal hyperemia, IMR delivers consistent, reproducible insights into the microvasculature's dynamic health.

Left Atrium Volume Index Profile in Diastolic Dysfunction
Background. Diastolic dysfunction is frequently found in hypertension, usually accompanied with left ventricular hypertrophy. Several parameter was developed to assess the diastolic function including left atrial volume index, E/A, DT, IVRT, S/D, E/e ...
