Monolithic Desktop Digital Fabrication of Autonomous Walking Robots
A soft, monolithic, air‐powered walking robot is designed for autonomous operation. Fabricated in a single step using a desktop (FFF) fused filament fabrication 3D printer, the robot requires no manual postassembly and becomes immediately operational with a constant‐pressure air supply.

Decreasing the Cost of Morphing in Adaptive Morphogenetic Robots
Shape‐morphing propulsive limbs enhance locomotion across land‐to‐water transitions, but prior designs rely on thermally responsive components, coupling performance to environmental temperature. This study introduces a pressure‐responsive mechanism that reduces morphing energy costs, enables rapid transitions, and minimizes failure modes.

A passive, tunable perching mechanism enables aerial robots to reliably perch onto smooth surfaces. The design integrates a bistable mechanism with a soft suction cup and SMA actuators for active tuning. Experiments demonstrate robust performance by adapting to varying contact speeds and surface orientation misalignments, enabling diverse perching ...

This study introduces polyethylene glycol‐functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) to enhance dispersion, interfacial bonding, and 4D printability in polyvinyl chloride‐PCL nanocomposites. The optimized 4D composite (0.5 wt% CNT) achieves a 25% increase in tensile strength, 95.78% shape fixity, and 5‐s recovery time.

Experiences of women farmworkers in Michigan: Perspectives from the Michigan Farmworker Project
Abstract Agricultural work presents significant physical and social challenges globally and in the United States, with women farmworkers facing unique risks that remain underexplored. This study examines the social and occupational hazards confronted by women farmworkers in Michigan using data from the Michigan Farmworker Project.

ABSTRACT Cystic kidney diseases (CyKD) are a diverse group of disorders affecting more than 1 in 1000 individuals. Over 120 genes are implicated, primarily encoding components of the primary cilium, transcription factors, and morphogens. Prognosis varies greatly by molecular diagnosis. Causal variants are not identified in 10%–60% of individuals due to

Natural History and Diagnostic Findings in an Adult Man Diagnosed With Attenuated Krabbe Disease
ABSTRACT Krabbe disease (KD), or globoid cell leukodystrophy, is a rare autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder caused by a deficiency in galactocerebrosidase (GALC), leading to psychosine (galactosylsphingosine) accumulation and myelin damage.

Growth Charts for Children With Beckwith–Wiedemann Spectrum
ABSTRACT Beckwith–Wiedemann spectrum (BWSp) is an overgrowth disorder caused by (epi)genetic alterations in chromosome 11p15. This study aimed to develop BWSp‐specific growth charts and explore genotype/phenotype correlations with respect to growth. Heights, weights, and head circumferences were retrospectively collected from 581 individuals with BWSp ...

Neuropathic pain management via repeated electroacupuncture. Abstract Background Existing remedial approaches for relieving neuropathic pain (NPP) are challenging and open the way for alternative therapeutic measures such as electroacupuncture (EA). The mechanism underlying the antinociceptive effects of repeated EA sessions, particularly concerning ...
