Legibility. Problematyka badań – wyniki – praktyka
In the process of creating a functional typographic statement, every decision regarding a project must be rationally justified. It seems that both studies pertaining to the legibility and the accessibility of their results can serve as an objective tool ...

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

This paper theorizes legibility—the potential for an environment to be interpreted by an agent—as a central mechanism for the possibility of culture. I critically evaluate the concept of legibility and explicate the mechanisms by which it underpins social and cultural practice.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Knowledge‐based atomistic workflows are presented for mechanical and thermodynamic properties. By coupling modular simulations with ontology‐aligned metadata and provenance, Fe case studies on elastic behavior, defects, thermal properties, and Hall–Petch strengthening reveal how FAIR, queryable, and reusable simulation data can be generated. Mechanical

New characters for Teletext with improved legibility
Teletext is difficult to read, partly because of the letter fonts employed. Present fonts are contained in a matrix of 6 (horizontal) x 10 (vertical) elements. Research on matrix characters of optimum legibility started in 1969 at IPO. Criteria resulting
