Abstract A case of retrovesical leiomyosarcoma in a male patient is described. The preoperative radiological and laboratory studies were inconclusive in determining the primary origin of the tumor. Diagnosis of a malignant tumor with smooth muscle origin was suggested by needle biopsy.
