Seed size/number trade‐off is a central topic in plant biology as it reflects ecological and evolutionary aspects of the species. Here we report the absence of a trade‐off mass/number of seeds and fruits in a polyspermic plant probably associated to abortion of self‐pollinated pistils and flowers.
