On Myriocoleopsis Schiffn. (Lejeuneaceae)
A new locality of the rare Brazilian liverwort Myriocoleopsis puiggarii (Lejeuneaceae) the only species in the genus, was discovered in the river Pardo near Barra do Turvo, Sao Paulo State. Data on stem-anatomy, oil-bodies, sporophyte and ecology are provided here for the first time.

Cololejeunea cardiocarpa, an epiphyllous liverwort in southern Africa (Lejeuneaceae)
Cololejeunea cardiocarpa was misidentified by Arnell (1963) and described by him as a new variety, Leptocolea cristata var. lanciloba. Gradstein et al. (1983) drew attention to this error.

The neotropical liverwort genus Dicladolejeunea, which has recently been placed in synonymy with Taxilejeunea, is proposed as synonymous with Lejeunea.
