A phase I dose-escalation study of lenalidomide in combination with gemcitabine in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. [PDF]
Lenalidomide have both immunomodulatory and anti-angiogenic properties which could confer anti-cancer effects. The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of combining lenalidomide with the standard treatment gemcitabine in pancreatic cancer ...

Pseudohypercalcemia induced by calcium‐binding monoclonal immunoglobulin in multiple myeloma is verified via laboratory assays and validated by therapeutic response. ABSTRACT Background Pseudohypercalcemia is easily misdiagnosed in clinical practice, potentially leading to unnecessary interventions.

Molecular Glue Degraders in Early Development for Cancer Therapy
ABSTRACT Molecular glue degraders are an emerging class of small molecule allosteric modulators that induce or stabilize protein‐protein interactions, enabling targeted degradation of previously intractable proteins. By redirecting E3 ligases to recognize neosubstrates, proteins that are not typically recognized by a specific E3 ubiquitin ligase, they ...

Efficacy of dose-reduced lenalidomide in patients with refractory or recurrent multiple myeloma
Purpose: Introduction of lenalidomide has expanded the therapeutic options for refractory and recurrent multiple myeloma (MM) patients. However, the application of the approved doses may be difficult in some patients due to adverse effects.

The CD47–SIRPα axis has emerged as a critical innate immune checkpoint that suppresses macrophage‐mediated phagocytosis through a canonical “don't eat me” signal and enables tumor immune evasion. We comprehensively summarize the structural and biological features of CD47 and the molecular mechanisms underlying CD47‐mediated regulation of phagocytosis ...

This retrospective case series evaluated all patients treated with daratumumab between 2018 and 2023 across two regional hospitals in Australia. Fifty‐two patients were included with a median age of 74. Median progression‐free survival (PFS) was 13 months and overall survival (OS) was 27 months, with an overall response rate was 35%.
