Length-length, length-weight relationship and condition factor of an ecological invader, Cyprinus carpio (Linneaus, 1758) from Manasbal Lake of Kashmir Himalaya, India

open access: yesJournal of Fisheries, 2021
The common carp Cyprinus carpio is a well-known invasive species. A total of 472 specimens of C. carpio (8.6–35 cm, 10.5–1000 g) were collected from Manasbal Lake of Kashmir Himalaya for this study between March 2018 and February 2020.

Length-Length, Length-Weight Relationships and Condition Factors of Some Anatolian Oxynoemacheilus seyhanensis (Bănărescu, 1968) Populations

open access: yesKahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi Tarım ve Doğa Dergisi, 2022
This study was conducted to provide length-weight (LWRs), length-length (LLRs) relationships and condition factor of Oxynoemacheilus seyhanensis from seven habitats belonging to three inland water basins of Turkey. A total of 166 specimens were collected from Yıldızeli, Taşköprü, Suşehri (Kızılırmak basin), Büyükpotuklu, Pınarbaşı and Örenşehir (Seyhan

Weight-length, length-length relationships and form factor of three flatfish species from the Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh

open access: yesArchives of Agriculture and Environmental Science, 2022
Biometrics such as weight-length relationships (WLRs), length-length relationships (LLRs), as well as form factor (a3.0) were investigated for three flatfish species, Cynoglossus lingua, Cynoglossus arel, and Brachirus pan which were captured using seines and gill nets between September 2021 and March 2022 from the Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh.

Global Length–Length Relationships for Common Carp Cyprinus carpio (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae)

open access: yesJournal of Limnology and Freshwater Fisheries Research, 2021
A review is provided of length–length relationships (LLR) for common carp (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) at the global scale. In total, 16 studies were retrieved from a comprehensive literature search that provided LLR for C. carpio populations from 26 water bodies consisting of rivers, lakes and reservoirs across nine countries in four continents.

Length-Weight and Length-Length Relationships of Archer and Puffer Fish Species [PDF]

open access: yesThe Open Fish Science Journal, 2008
Length-weight and length-length relationships are presented for four fish species from the estuaries of south Johore, Peninsular Malaysia. The values of the exponent b in the length-weight relationships (LWRs) W= aL b ranged from 2.97 to 3.44 and length-length relationships (LLRs) TL= aSL b ranged from 0.87 to 0.95.

Length-weight and length-length relationships for rockpool fishes on the Brazilian coast [PDF]

open access: yesBiota Neotropica, 2017
Abstract Fifty-nine length-weight (LWR) and length-length (LLR) relationships were estimated for 18 fish species, belonging to 10 families. The fish specimens were captured in rockpools of 21 sites along a stretch of 4,900 km of the Brazilian coast, between latitudes 00° and 22°S, in 2012.
