Length-weight relationships and length-length relationships of 13 fish species in Rongcheng Bay, China

Journal of Applied Ichthyology, 2016
Summary The present study provides the length–weight relationships (LWRs) of 13 fish species belonging to eight families that were collected in Rongcheng Bay, March 2009 to December 2014. The r2 values ranged from 0.953 to 0.994 and values of b varied from 2.542 to 3.454.

A Bimodal Weight–Length Relationship in Bleak (Alburnus alburnus)

Annales Zoologici Fennici, 2019
The aim of this study was to find the location of a breakpoint in the weight–length relationship using a linearized biexponential model (LinBiExp). The analysis was performed using weight and length measurements of bleak (Alburnus alburnus) individuals captured in freshwaters of the Province of Ferrara (Italy).

Length-weight relationship and growth of Labeo bata

Bangladesh Journal of Fisheries, 2023
This study was executed to elucidate the length-weight relationship (LWR) yet the annual condition of the Labeo bata (Hamilton, 1822), an immensely important fishery of Bangladesh.  Overall, 447 specimens employed during this study were collected by using traditional fishing gear (cast net).

A Generalized Allometric Model for Determining Length‐Weight Relationship

Biometrical Journal, 1997
AbstractWell‐known allometric model is critically reviewed for determining the length‐weight relationship. Procedure to be followed for applying this model under the assumption of multiplicative as well as additive error is discussed. The possibility of autocorrelations in error term is explored.

Length-weight and length-length relationships for three small tuna species (Scombridae) from Portuguese waters including curved fork length and eviscerated weight relationships

2021
This study reports length-weight (LWRs) and length-length (LLRs) relationships for three small tuna species, Scombridae: Bullet tuna [BLT], Auxis rochei (Risso, 1810); Atlantic bonito [BON], Sarda sarda (Bloch, 1793); and Little tunny [LTA], Euthynnus alletteratus (Rafinesque, 1810) from Portuguese waters.

The Weight-Length Relationship of the Atlantic Salmon

Journal of the Fisheries Research Board of Canada, 1939
Changes in the condition of the Atlantic salmon have been traced throughout the life of the fish. During two periods only does the coefficient of condition—studied through comparisons of the weight-length relationships—deviate widely from a value of one.

Ruffe Length–Weight Relationships with a Proposed Standard Weight Equation

North American Journal of Fisheries Management, 2009
Abstract Ruffe Gymnocephalus cernuus length–weight data from 141 data sets were obtained from a variety of waters across Europe and the Laurentian Great Lakes for summarization and development of standard weight (Ws) equations. The mean slopes of the length–weight relationships from all populations and for all percentiles except the 95th
