The Lens Capsule and the Intraocular Lens-the ‘Moustache Lens’

The use of the capsular bag for fixation of intraocular lenses is described. In routine cases, the ‘moustache principle’ of lenses is easy, safe and guaranteed. The envelope technique, or intercapsular surgery, is described. In traumatic cases, the two-plane two-loop or four-loop lenses are advised as an adequate alternative.

The Virtual Lens
