Practically every issue of an ophthalmic journal has some reference to the surgical procedures employed or the complications encountered at the time of extraction of a cataractous lens. There is, however, only an occasional reference to the dislocated lens. The handling of such cases may tax the surgical judgment of the ophthalmologist.
