Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.This study reports for the first time the mechanical properties of brazed joints featuring Additively manufactured parts, such parts will likely need to be joined or combined with other components, and brazing offers a way of doing this for complex shapes without distortion. A new shear test methodology developed for such joints is also described.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.A multimaterial approach is introduced to improve upon auxetic structures by combining two different polymers into the same reentrant honeycomb structure via additive manufacturing. The deformation behavior as well as the resulting Poisson's ratio are thereby improved significantly.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Laser‐generated nanoparticles transform standard PA12 powders into high‐performance, dye‐free feedstocks for diode laser 3D printing. Despite identical absorbance at 808 nm, CuS, LaB6, and CB coatings reveal striking differences in fusion and strength—unlocking new design space for recyclable, industrial‐grade polymers.
