Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Field restriction and vignetting in contact lenses with opaque peripheries

open access: yes, 1998
Background: Some previous researchers have shown empirically that visual fields can be restricted by contact lenses with opaque and semi-opaque peripheral zones.

High Light Utilization and Color Rendering in Vacuum‐Deposited Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

Dehydration of hydrogel lenses during overnight wear

open access: yes, 1987
We studied the extent of dehydration of hydrogel lenses during overnight wear. Seven subjects used a hand refractometer to measure the water content of five different lenses (Hydron zero-6 (nominal water content 38.6%), -0.50 D; Snoflex 50 (52.5%), -0.50

Polyimide‐Linked Hexaazatriphenylene‐Based Porous Organic Polymer with Multiple Redox‐Active Sites as a High‐Capacity Organic Cathode for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐capacity polyimide‐linked porous organic polymer (HAT‐PTO) incorporating numerous redox‐active centers is synthesized via a hydrothermal reaction, delivering a high theoretical capacity of 484 mAh g−1. In situ hybridization with carboxyl‐functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes enhances conductivity and stability, achieving 397 mAh g−1 at C ...
