SummaryThe development of endosperm in Utricularia vulgaris var. americana conforms to the Scutellaria type of Schnarf (1917). Binucleate micropylar and chalazal endosperm haustoria are present. An accessory haustorial cell may differentiate adjacent to the chalazal haustorium. Sometimes the micropylar haustorium may be trinucleate.
