Neuromorphic Near‐Sensor and In‐Sensor Computing Enabled by Next‐Generation Material‐Based Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review presents a structural framework that classifies neuromorphic sensing into near‐sensor and in‐sensor architectures, clarifying physical coupling between sensing and computation. The framework connects neural and synaptic device functions with recent advances in optical, mechanical, and chemical sensing, compares energy consumption and ...

OPERATIONAL ASPECTS OF ORBIT DETERMINATION WITH GPS FOR SMALL SATELLITES WITH A SAR PAYLOAD.

open access: yes, 2005
Scientific small satellite missions for remote sensing with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payloads or high accuracy optical sensors, pose very strict requirements on the accuracy of the reconstructed satellite positions, velocities and accelerations ...

Impurity Tolerance in LiFePO4 Cathodes: Contrasting Structural, Electronic, and Electrochemical Roles of Residual Ni and Cr

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Impurity tolerance in LiFePO4 cathodes varies strongly with impurity type and content. Low Ni levels are accommodated within the lattice with minimal structural disruption, whereas higher Ni contents introduce antisite disorder. In contrast, Cr impurities segregate from the LiFePO4 framework, blocking lithium‐ion pathways and leading to inferior ...

Secure and Scalable Rerouting in LEO Satellite Networks

open access: yesCoRR
Resilient routing in large-scale Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite networks remains a key challenge due to frequent and unpredictable link and node failures, potentially in response to cybersecurity breaches. While prior work has explored rerouting strategies with various levels of network awareness, their relative tradeoffs under dynamic failure ...

Aromaticity‐Engineered Open‐Shell Radical Anions for Air‐Stable Doublet Emission in N‐Annulated Perylene Diimide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Open‐shell type radical anions with stable doublet emission have been synthesized that feature aromaticity engineering, through‐space charge‐transfer (TSCT), and electro(fluoro)chromism. ABSTRACT We report the doublet emissive open‐shell radical anions, where the N‐annulated perylene diimide (PDIN–H) is functionalized with aromatic rings.

In Situ Confinement of 0D Halometallates Within Deep Eutectic Solvents: From Systematic Screening to Metal‐Tunable Luminescence for Anti‐Counterfeiting Eutectogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report photostable, photoluminescent deep eutectic solvents (DESs) powered by in situ‐formed zero‐dimensional (0D) halometallates. Stabilized by microenvironment‐controlling hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA) and donor (HBD) networks, these DESs exhibit vibrant, metal ion‐tunable emission (PLQY = 60.2%).
