Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Structure–Transport–Ion Retention Coupling for Enhanced Nonvolatile Artificial Synapses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nitrogen incorporation into the conjugated backbone of donor–acceptor polymers enables efficient charge transfer and deep ion embedding in organic electrochemical synaptic transistors (OESTs). This molecular‐level design enhances non‐volatile synaptic properties, providing a new strategy for developing high‐performance and reliable neuromorphic devices.

Load Balancing Based on Cache Resource Allocation in Satellite Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
During a high-speed movement, the satellites are connected intermittently, so the queue length becomes larger and a cache overflow appears. In this paper, the abundant storage resources of the multilayered satellite network (MLSN) are used to avoid the ...

Satellite-enabled LTE systems in LEO constellations [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC Workshops), 2017
LTE-based satellite systems in LEO constellations are a promising solution for extending broadband coverage to areas not connected to a terrestrial infrastructure. However, the large delays and Doppler shifts over the satellite channel pose severe technical challenges to a traditional LTE system.

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Impact of Solar Irradiance on Low-Earth-Orbit Satellite Orbital Decay During Geomagnetic Storm

open access: yesAerospace
In recent years, with the rapid expansion of low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite constellations, the orbital decay of LEO satellites caused by atmospheric heating from solar irradiance and geomagnetic activity has become increasingly prominent.

Enhancing Synaptic Plasticity and Multistate Retention of Organic Neuromorphic Devices Using Anion‐Excessive Gel Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐excessive gel‐based organic synaptic transistors (AEG‐OSTs) that can maintain electrical neutrality are developed to enhance synaptic plasticity and multistate retention. Key improvement is attributed to the maintenance of electrical neutrality in the electrolyte even after electrochemical doping, which reduces the Coulombic force acting on ...

Navigation Resource Allocation Algorithm for LEO Constellations Based on Dynamic Programming

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Navigation resource allocation for low-earth-orbit (LEO) constellations refers to the optimal allocation of navigational assets when the number and allocation of satellites in the LEO constellation have been determined.

26-GHz data downlink for LEO satellites [PDF]

open access: yes2012 6th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EUCAP), 2012
State-of-the art downlink technology allows Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites for Earth observation (EO) to downlink just above 500 Mb/s in the X-band due to bandwidth limitations. X-band is also becoming very congested. The ITU allocates four times more bandwidth in the 26 GHz band (i.e. 25.5 to 27 GHz) for the EO downlink.

Suppression of Photo‐Mediated Traps in Integrated Organic Photovoltaic–Photodetector Devices via N‐Type Self‐Assembly‐Driven Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conventional unstable electron transport layers (ETLs) limit self‐powered organic sensors. This work resolves this by developing a n‐type self‐assembled monolayer (SAM), “3‐PAPh”. This SAM forms a chemically stable and structurally ordered interface that fundamentally suppresses defect formation.
