Impact of memory-burdened primordial black holes on high-scale leptogenesis

Physical Review D
We explore the impact of the backreaction of evaporation on the quantum state of primordial black holes (PBHs), known as “memory burden,” on the baryon asymmetry production in the Universe through high-scale leptogenesis.

Leptogenesis: Recent Developments

Nuclear and Particle Physics Proceedings, 2015
Abstract I review recent developments in leptogenesis focusing on two different scenarios: i ) thermal leptogenesis and ii ) leptogenesis though neutrino oscillations. Experimental tests of these possibilities are briefly discussed.

Affleck-Dine leptogenesis scenario for resonant production of sterile neutrino dark matter

Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
Sterile neutrino is a fascinating candidate for dark matter. In this paper, we examine the Affleck-Dine (AD) leptogenesis scenario generating a large lepton asymmetry, which can induce the resonant production of sterile neutrino dark matter via the Shi ...

Baryogenesis via leptogenesis

Physical Review D, 1992
If right-handed Majorana neutrinos are added to the standard model, then lepton-number-violating out-of-equilibrium decays of right-handed neutrinos combined with anomalous electroweak processes can generate the baryon number of the Universe. We analyze this mechanism in detail, and determine the ranges of parameters for which the correct baryon number

Leptogenesis

Proceedings of the International School of Physics “Enrico Fermi”
We summarize the state of the art of the theory of thermal leptogenesis according to which the baryon asymmetry in the Universe is produced at very high temperatures from the decay of heavy right-handed neutrinos. The same heavy states might be responsible through the see-saw mechanism of the lightness of the left-handed neutrinos.
