Parameter space of leptogenesis in polynomial inflation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
Polynomial inflation is a very simple and well motivated scenario. A potential with a concave “almost” saddle point at field value ϕ = ϕ 0 fits well the cosmic microwave background (CMB) data and makes testable predictions for the running of the spectral

Bremsstrahlung high-frequency gravitational wave signatures of high-scale nonthermal leptogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2022
Inflaton seeds non-thermal leptogenesis by pair producing right-handed neutrinos in the seesaw model. We show that the inevitable graviton bremsstrahlung associated with inflaton decay can be a unique probe of non-thermal leptogenesis.

Mirror Dirac leptogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2020
We consider a mirror world scenario, in which light Dirac neutrinos are generated from a seesaw mechanism and leptogenesis occurs at high scale without violating lepton number. After leptogenesis, the conservation laws of the theory imply the visible baryon-minus-lepton asymmetry to be equal to the mirror baryon-minus-lepton asymmetry.

Spontaneous CPT Violation and Quantum Anomalies in a Model for Matter–Antimatter Asymmetry in the Cosmos

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
We review scenarios of baryogenesis through leptogenesis at early epochs of the universe, in string-inspired minimal extensions of the Standard Model (SM), involving heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos.

Large neutrino asymmetry from TeV scale leptogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2022
We study a class of leptogenesis scenarios with decay or scattering being the source of lepton asymmetry, which can not only give rise to the observed baryon asymmetry in the universe but also can leave behind a large remnant neutrino asymmetry.

Leptogenesis for pedestrians [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of Physics, 2005
During the process of thermal leptogenesis temperature decreases by about one order of magnitude while the baryon asymmetry is generated. We present an analytical description of this process so that the dependence on the neutrino mass parameters becomes transparent.

Leptogenesis in the Universe

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2012
Leptogenesis is a class of scenarios in which the cosmic baryon asymmetry originates from an initial lepton asymmetry generated in the decays of heavy sterile neutrinos in the early Universe.

Mapping the Viable Parameter Space for Testable Leptogenesis. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2021
We for the first time map the range of active-sterile neutrino mixing angles in which leptogenesis is possible in the type I seesaw model with three heavy neutrinos with Majorana masses between 50 MeV and 70 TeV, covering the entire experimentally ...

Wash-In Leptogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2021
We present a new leptogenesis mechanism based on the standard type-I seesaw model that successfully operates at right-handed-neutrino masses as low as a few 100 TeV. This mechanism, which we dub 'wash-in leptogenesis', does not require any CP violation in the neutrino sector and can be implemented even in the regime of strong washout.
