Studying Lepton Family Violation in Lepton-Lepton Collisions [PDF]

open access: yesEur.Phys.J.C4:525-532,1998, 1997
In the context of the future high energy - high luminosity electron and muon colliders, all the relevant four-lepton processes with the lepton family violation (LFV) are systematically classified. The most general LFV effective lagrangians are found, and the helicity differential cross sections for the LFV processes are calculated.

Neutrino Masses and Lepton Flavour Violation in Thick Brane Scenarios [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. D64 (2001) 073005, 2001
We address the issue of lepton flavour violation and neutrino masses in the ``fat-brane'' paradigm, where flavour changing processes are suppressed by localising different fermion field wave-functions at different positions (in the extra dimensions) in a thick brane. We study the consequences of suppressing lepton number violating charged lepton decays

Charged-Lepton Flavour Physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This writeup of a talk at the 2011 Lepton-Photon symposium in Mumbai, India, summarises recent results in the charged-lepton flavour sector. I review searches for charged-lepton flavour violation, lepton electric dipole moments and flavour-conserving CP violation. I also discuss recent progress in tau-lepton physics and in the Standard Model prediction

Experimental Review on Lepton Universality and Lepton Flavour Violation tests at the B-factories [PDF]

open access: yesPoS KAON:054,2008, 2007
Since 1999, the B-factories collaborations BABAR and Belle have accumulated and studied large samples of tau lepton pairs. The experimental results on Lepton Universality checks and Lepton Flavour Violation searches are reported.

Lepton flavor violation with tau leptons [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We review the status and importance of lepton flavor violation with tauons, focusing on overlooked flavor-breaking patterns as well as tau-flavor violation in nucleon decays.

Leptons in the proton [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Abstract As is the case for all light coloured Standard Model particles, also photons and charged leptons appear as constituents in ultrarelativistic hadron beams, and admit a parton density function (PDF). It has been shown recently that the photon PDF can be given in terms of the structure functions and form factors for electron ...

QLBT: a linear Boltzmann transport model for heavy quarks in a quark-gluon plasma of quasi-particles

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We develop a new heavy quark transport model, QLBT, to simulate the dynamical propagation of heavy quarks inside the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

Scotogenic Dirac neutrino mass models embedded with leptoquarks: one pathway to address the flavor anomalies and the neutrino masses together

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
If the leptoquarks proposed to account for the intriguing anomalies observed in the semileptonic B-meson decays, $$R_{D^{(*)}}$$ R D ( ∗ ) and $$R_{K^{(*)}}$$ R K ( ∗ ) , as well as in the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, $$(g-2)_\mu $$ ( g - 2 ) μ

Thermodynamics and energy loss in D dimensions from holographic QCD model

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We consider the holographic QCD model with a planar horizon in the D dimensions with different consistent metric solutions. We investigate the black hole thermodynamics, phase diagram and equations of state (EoS) in different dimensions.

Thermoelectric properties of the (an-)isotropic QGP in magnetic fields

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
The Seebeck effect and the Nernst effect, which reflect the appearance of electric fields along x-axis and along y-axis ( $$E_{x}$$ E x and $$E_{y}$$ E y ), respectively, induced by the thermal gradient along x-axis, are studied in the QGP at an external
