Lepton flavor violation at linear collider experiments in supersymmetric grand unified theories [PDF]
Lepton flavor violation at linear collider experiments is discussed. We show that detectable lepton flavor violation could occur through scalar lepton pair production and decay in the supersymmetric SU(5) grand unified theory in spite of the stringent ...

In order to solve the problems of low resolution and blurred temperature distribution of infrared images of power equipment caused by hardware limitations, this paper proposes a lightweight super‐resolution method based on the MIA network. The reconstructed images have good subjective and objective results, and provide support for power system fault ...

Predictions from non trivial Quark-Lepton complementarity
The complementarity between the quark and lepton mixing matrices is shown to provide robust predictions. We obtain these predictions by first showing that the matrix V_M, product of the quark (CKM) and lepton (PMNS) mixing matrices, may have a zero (1,3)

Lepton Numbers in the framework of Neutrino Mixing [PDF]
In this short review we discuss the notion of lepton numbers. The strong evidence in favor of neutrino oscillations obtained recently in the Super-Kamiokande atmospheric neutrino experiment and in solar neutrino experiments imply that the law of ...

Production of Dileptons in Ultraperipheral Heavy‐Ion Collisions With Two‐Photon Processes
We study the photoproduction process of dileptons in heavy‐ion collision at relativistic heavy‐ion collider (RHIC) and large hadron collider (LHC) energies. The equivalent photon approximation, which equates the electromagnetic field of high‐energy charged particles to the photon flux, is used to calculate the processes of dilepton production.

Perturbations of bounce inflation scenario from f(T) modified gravity revisited
In this work, we revisit the perturbations that are generated in the bounce inflation scenario constructed within the framework of f(T) theory. It has been well known that pure f(T) theory cannot give rise to bounce inflation behavior, so aside from the ...

Lepton flavour and lepton number violation searches at the LHCb experiment
Recent hints for lepton-universality violation in $b\to c\ell\nu$ and $b\to s\ell\ell$ transitions could imply the existence of lepton-flavour violating $b$ decays.

Flavor in SU(5)$SU(5)$ Finite Grand Unified Models
Abstract Four SU(5)N=1$SU(5) \nobreakspace N=1$ supersymmetric models which exhibit S3$S_3$ and/or ZN$Z_N$ symmetries are studied, that are finite to two or all loops, and their corresponding mass matrices. The first is an all‐loop finite model based on an S3×Z3×Z2$S_3\times Z_3\times Z_2$ flavor symmetry, which leads to phenomenologically nonviable ...

Large Lepton Mixing and Nonsymmetric Mass Matrices with Flavor 2 <-> 3 Symmetry
We analyze the lepton sector of a recently proposed nonsymmetric mass matrix model. Our model gives a unified description of quark and lepton with the same texture form based on an extended flavor $2 \leftrightarrow 3$ symmetry with a phase.
