The symmetric numerator for lepton–lepton scattering

European Journal of Physics, 2006
We derive the symmetric invariant function for the calculation of the differential cross section for lepton–lepton scattering, starting from the first-order perturbation theory in quantum electrodynamics. The use of the introduced symmetric function that depends on the pair Mandelstam variables significantly simplifies the calculation of the ...

Leptonvector-lepton mixings and unitarity bounds

Physical Review D, 1988
Vector leptons (N,E) are present in both E/sub 6/ and SO(18) unified theories. We derive linear relations between the masses of these vector leptons and ordinary leptons, and their mixing angles. We calculate the amplitudes for such processes as E/sup +/E/sup -/..-->..E/sup +/E/sup -/ and e/sup +/E/sup -/..-->..boson-boson. We find that these relations
