Abstract Cherenkov detectors have been used in space for decades to measure Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCRs), Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs) and trapped particles. We present proof‐of‐concept GRAS/Geant4 simulations to both show that a cubic fused silica Cherenkov detector with SiPM in LEO has a good sensitivity to SEP and GCR protons as a function of cut‐

Lepton number and lepton flavour violation in left-right symmetric models [PDF]
The sources of lepton flavour and lepton number violation in the left-right symmetric models are reviewed and the most sensitive processes to these violations are discussed. Both the non-SUSY and SUSY versions of the theories are considered.

Baryon electric charge correlation as QCD magnetometer [PDF]
The detection of strong magnetic fields in peripheral heavy-ion collisions is crucial for observing effects such as the chiral magnetic effect but has proven exceptionally difficult.

The global geometrical property of jet events in high-energy nuclear collisions
We present the first theoretical study of medium modifications of the global geometrical pattern, i.e., transverse sphericity ( $$S_{\perp }$$ S ⊥ ) distribution of jet events with parton energy loss in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

TRIPLICITY OF QUARKS AND LEPTONS [PDF]
Quarks come in three colors and have electric charges in multiples of one-third. There are also three families of quarks and leptons. Though the first two properties can be understood in terms of unification symmetries such as SU(5), SO(10), or E6, why should there only be three families remains a mystery. We propose how all three properties involving

The Purely Leptonic and Semileptonic Decays of Ds∗ Meson
With the potential prospects of the Ds∗ at high‐luminosity heavy‐flavor experiments in the future, we investigated the CKM‐favored and tree‐dominated leptonic Ds∗⟶ℓν¯ℓ,ℓ=e,μ,τ and semileptonic Ds∗⟶Mℓ′ν¯ℓ′ M=ϕ,η′,K and ℓ′=e,μ weak decays in the standard model (SM).

Recently, the Belle II collaboration announced the first measurement of the branching ratio B B + → K + ν ν ¯ $$ \mathcal{B}\left({B}^{+}\to {K}^{+}\nu \overline{\nu}\right) $$ , which is found to be about 2.7σ higher than the Standard Model (SM ...

A Renormalizable Neutrino Mass Model With (Z2 × Z4)⋊Z2(II) Symmetry
In this work, a renormalizable neutrino mass model based on (Z2 × Z4)⋊Z2 (II) symmetry is proposed for the modification of the μ − τ reflection symmetry. The hierarchies of lepton masses can be naturally realized, and the lepton mixing is addressed.
