2014Bankart lesions represent traumatic detachments of the glenoid labrum [ 1 ] (Fig. 9.1 ). These lesions usually result from recurrent anterior shoulder dislocations causing anterior instability and mainly involve avulsions of the anteroinferior glenoid labrum at its attachment to the inferior glenohumeral ligamentous complex [ 2 , 3 ].
