Photo-imaging system containing leuco dyes and haloganated polymers.

open access: yesJournal of Photopolymer Science and Technology, 1989
Transparent halopolymer film such as poly(vinyl chloride) containing leuco dye formed color image by UV irradiation. Combinations of six kinds of polymers and five kinds of leuco dyes were investigated as photo coloring systems. A stable coloration of the leuco dye can be obtained if halopolymer is used as a matrix film.

Reduction of nitrite to NO in an organised triphasic medium by platinum carbonyl clusters and redox active dyes as electron carriers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Artificial electron donors such as leuco methylene blue and leuco safranin O reduce nitrite ion to nitric oxide. The reaction is effected in a U-tube where nitrite ion and dye in two aqueous layers are separated by a layer of dichloromethane (a close ...

Oxidative Synthesis of Acid Blue 7 Dye Catalyzed by CuO/Silicotungstic Acid in Water-Phase

open access: yes, 2021
A catalytic oxidation reaction for Acid Blue 7 dye synthesis was evaluated in water. Without lead oxide or manganese oxide derivatives as oxidants, polyoxometalate catalysts were investigated to reduce the usage of harmful heavy metal.

Phytochemistry, Antimicrobial, Analgesic, Antibiofilm, Diuretic Activities, and Acute Toxicity of Bark Extracts From Three Plants (Khaya senegalensis, Ocimum americanum, and Cassytha filiformis) Collected in Benin

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In Beninese traditional medicine, Khaya senegalensis, Ocimum americanum, and Cassytha filiformis are commonly used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs). This study aimed to evaluate their phytochemical composition, antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activities, analgesic and diuretic effects, and acute toxicity.

A review on radiochromic film dosimetry in radiation therapy

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 26, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Radiochromic films (RCFs) are ubiquitous in radiation oncology clinical and research settings to measure the radiation dose over a two‐dimensional (2D) area due to their high spatial resolution, water‐equivalency, and relative ease‐of‐use. Upon irradiation, the constituent monomers of the active layer of RCFs undergo polymerization, leading to
