The Early Permian in the present-day Europe area was a time when a major tectonic shift occurred, leading from the tectonic collapse of the Variscan orogeny to the crustal extension and thinning that characterized the Early Permian times.

Volatile‐Assisted Intrusion and Autometasomatism of Leucogranites in the Khumbu Himalaya, Nepal
Abstract Leucogranite crops out in the upper Imja Khola, Khumbu Himalaya, Nepal, where it makes up approximately 50% of the exposed bedrock. Leucogranites and their associated aplite‐pegmatites typically intruded as concordant sills, millimeters‐ to kilometers‐wide.

Fertility of metapelites and metagraywackes during leucogranite generation: an example from the Black Hills, U.S.A. [PDF]
In order to elucidate how mineralogy and composition of crustal sources influences production of leucogranite magmas, we modelled the potential fertility of a sequence of metapelites and metagraywackes from the Black Hills, South Dakota, U.S.A., using a ...

Pleistocene melting and rapid exhumation of the Nanga Parbat massif, Pakistan: Age and P-T conditions of accessory mineral growth in migmatite and leucogranite [PDF]
Rapid Pleistocene exhumation of the core of the Nanga Parbat massif (northwestern Himalayan syntaxis) is inferred by combining U-Pb dates from monazite, xenotime, and zircon from migmatitic rocks and a leucogranite dike with pressure estimates that are ...

Sillimanite-bearing shear zones in syntectonic leucogranite: fluid-assisted brittle-ductile deformation under amphibolite facies conditions [PDF]
In the Imja Kola valley (eastern Nepal), Miocene peraluminous leucogranite dykes were emplaced within transtensional shear zones synchronously with regional amphibolite–facies metamorphism in the metamorphic host rocks.

Interplay between deformation and magmatism during doming of the Archaean Shaw Granitoid Complex, Pilbara Craton, Western Australia [PDF]
The Shaw Granitoid Complex, one of the classic granitoid domes of the Archaean Pilbara Craton, Western Australia, evolved from a plutonic complex into a not, vert, similar60 km diameter steep-sided dome during migmatisation of the deep crust.

Neoproterozoic Anatexis of 2.9 Ga Old Granitoids in the Goiás-Crixás Archean Block, Central Brazil: Evidence From New SHRIMP U-Pb Data and Sm-Nd Isotopes [PDF]
The first SHRIMP U-Pb ages for granitoid rocks from the southern part of the Goiás-Crixás Archean Block (Caiçara andUvá complexes) are presented and discussed in combination with Sm-Nd isotopic data in order to elucidate the main aspectsof the geological
