Presumptive Postoperative Nontraumatic Adrenal Haemorrhage After Orthopaedic Surgery in a Dog. [PDF]
Vet Med SciA small‐breed dog developed abrupt hypothermia, hypotension, and recurrent hypoglycaemia on postoperative day 1 after orthopaedic surgery. Serial ultrasonography showed bilateral adrenal thickening with periadrenal hyperechogenicity, followed by progressive reduction in adrenal thickness.
