Materials‐Driven Additive Manufacturing for Electrical Machines: Qualification‐Oriented Design Beyond Geometric Freedom

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This perspective reframes additive manufacturing for electrical machines as a qualification‐limited materials and architecture design problem. It links process–structure–property–performance relationships to magnetic, conducting, dielectric, and thermal property windows, highlighting where AM can enable segmented magnetic circuits, permanent magnet ...

Job satisfaction and life satisfaction: Analysis of a reciprocal model with social demographic moderators [PDF]

open access: yes
The general objective of the study was to empirically test a reciprocal model of job satisfaction and life satisfaction while controlling for some social demographic variables. 827 employees working in 34 car dealerships in Northern Quebec (56% responses

Enhancement of the Through‐Thickness Electrical Conductivity of Carbon‐Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Using Large Graphite Particles

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
To enhance through‐thickness conductivity without sacrificing impregnation, large spherical graphite particles are intentionally employed in a low‐viscosity resin. Unlike finer conductive fillers, these particles remain outside the fiber bundles and accumulate in resin‐rich interlaminar regions during molding.

A Multi‐Scale Machine Learning Framework for the Inverse Design of High Entropy Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
High‐entropy alloys offer vast potential for various applications, including electrocatalysis; however, their compositional complexity challenges conventional screening. We introduce an inverse‐design framework combining two neural networks to determine optimal compositions and reconstruct nanoparticle geometry from targeted properties and conventional

An urban vs. rural job satisfaction comparison: state-federal based vocational rehabilitation counselors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Plan BAccording to Hultaker (1977), job satisfaction is a characteristic that has been studied for many years. The relationship between job satisfaction and professional agencies has been determined to be important for many different reasons.

Anticorrosive Performance of Smart Epoxy Coatings With Poly(urea‐formaldehyde) Microcapsules Filled With 5‐Ethylidene‐2‐norbornene

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
PUF/ENB microcapsules were synthesized based on a sequential factorial design and incorporated into an epoxy matrix. Their anticorrosive action, associated with the self‐healing mechanism, demonstrated that the addition of microcapsules to the coating improved anticorrosive performance compared to pure epoxy coatings, particularly when the encapsulate ...
