Enhancing Bubble Removal in Geometry‐Optimized Electrodes
3D‐printed lattice electrodes outperform stochastic foams in alkaline water electrolysis despite 20%–25% lower surface area. Straight flow channels generate Venturi‐like bubble entrainment, suppressing gas accumulation that renders foam interiors electrochemically inactive.

Perspective on industrial electrification and utility scale PV in the Arctic region
Two concurrent trends may fundamentally change how we understand the role of solar PV at high latitudes. Until now, relatively low annual insolation in combination with low electricity demand during the summer months has not favoured PV in the Arctic ...

Electricity costs for a Level 3 electric vehicle fueling station integrated with a building [PDF]
Abstract Despite the potential environmental benefits, plugin electric vehicles (PEVs) face challenges associated with driving range and long refueling times. Level 3 electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE) is capable of refueling PEVs quickly, but may face economic challenges, such as high utility demand charges.

Two-Stage Monte Carlo Simulation to Forecast Levelized Cost of Electricity for Wave Energy [PDF]
The technically recoverable global wave energy resource is estimated to be between 2 PWh/year and 5.5 PWh/year, approximately 12% and 32% of global electricity consumption.

Levelized cost of electricity for photovoltaic/biogas power plant hybrid system with electrical energy storage degradation costs [PDF]
Off-grid renewable energy system is a critical infrastructure in providing electrical power for small communities, especially in remote and rural areas where grid connection points are not available. Due to the diurnal and intermittent nature of solar irradiance, the photovoltaic (PV) power plant can introduce generation and load power imbalance issue.

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

Estimating the Amount of a Global Feed-in Tariff for Renewable Electricity [PDF]
We present a simple model to estimate the subsidy cost embedded in a global feed-in tariff (GFIT) to simultaneously stimulate electrification and the take-up of renewable energy sources for electricity generation in developing countries.
