Towards directional force sensing in levitated optomechanics
Levitated nanoparticles are being intensively investigated from two different perspectives: as a potential realisation of macroscopic quantum coherence; and as ultra-sensitive sensors of force, down to the zeptoNewton level, with a range of various applications, including the search for Dark Matter.

Non‐Equilibrium Synthesis Methods to Create Metastable and High‐Entropy Nanomaterials
ABSTRACT Stabilizing multiple elements within a single phase enables the creation of advanced materials with exceptional properties arising from their complex composition. However, under equilibrium conditions, the Hume–Rothery rules impose strict limitations on solid‐state miscibility, restricting combinations of elements with mismatched crystal ...

Acoustofluidic Patterning for Improved Microtissue Histology
Microtissue histology is widely used to characterize microtissue phenotype and morphology. However, conventional microtissue histology workflows are inefficient and time‐consuming. This work introduces a novel embedding technique that uses acoustofluidics to improve the efficiency of microtissue histology and reduce the time required for data analysis.
