The Effect of Multigrid Parameters in a 3D Heat Diffusion Equation
The aim of this paper is to reduce the necessary CPU time to solve the three-dimensional heat diffusion equation using Dirichlet boundary conditions. The finite difference method (FDM) is used to discretize the differential equations with a second-order ...

Lexicographic generation of ordered trees
AbstractWe show a one-one correspondence between all the regular binary trees with n internal nodes and certain integer sequences, an algorithm for generating these trees lexicographically, and the ranking function and the corresponding unranking procedure.

Prophetic Promise: The Lineal Return of ‘lopp’d branches’ in Shakespeare’s Cymbeline
Abstract This paper identifies the early‐modern conception of prophecy as a word‐magic performed across generations, a verbal promise that anticipates its own realisation in posterity. Just as Francis Bacon upheld the generative force of prophetic utterances by noting their ‘springing and germinant accomplishment throughout many ages’, Shakespeare’s ...

On the lexicographic ordered spaces
Abstract In this paper, we discuss the lexicographic ordered topologies on some products. We mainly prove: (1) The lexicographic ordered space λ γ is base-normal for any ordinals λ and γ. (2) The lexicographic ordered space [ 0 , 1 ) γ is Lindelof for each ordinal γ ≤ ω 1 .

This paper investigates new radio spectrum coexistence mechanisms, leveraging the currently uninhabited 6 GHz bands and aiming for fair coexistence of Wi‐Fi 6 and 5G new radio unlicensed (NR‐U). A novel two‐stage channel contention mechanism is proposed to explore additional spectrum access opportunities which remain unrealized in the existing channel ...

Sources and definitions in the judeo-spanish lexical card index of Cynthia M. Crews
This research aims the study and analysis of the lexical card index in Judeo-Spanish language of the British researcher Cynthia M. Crews, in order to examine the documentary sources which formed it, and to determine the criteria of definition and ...

Lexicographically Ordered Multi-Objective Clustering
We introduce a rich model for multi-objective clustering with lexicographic ordering over objectives and a slack. The slack denotes the allowed multiplicative deviation from the optimal objective value of the higher priority objective to facilitate improvement in lower-priority objectives. We then propose an algorithm called Zeus to solve this class of

Lexicographic shellability, matroids, and pure order ideals
In 1977 Stanley conjectured that the $h$-vector of a matroid independence complex is a pure $O$-sequence. In this paper we use lexicographic shellability for matroids to motivate a combinatorial strengthening of Stanley's conjecture. This suggests that a pure $O$-sequence can be constructed from combinatorial data arising from the shelling.

Trade and ethnolinguistic differences: A replication and extension
Abstract We revisit the role of trade on long‐run inter‐ethnic linguistic differences. Dickens (2022) hypothesized that neighboring languages are more similar when agriculture provides potential gains from inter‐ethnic trade. Since his empirical approach confounds inter‐ and intra‐ethnic trade, we replicate his main analysis using improved measures of ...
