Geographic Patterns of Head Morphology in Syngnathus typhle Across Marine Regions

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
Morphometric analysis of Syngnathus typhle head shape shows distinct geographic patterns across Baltic, North, Atlantic, and Mediterranean marine regions, driven by variation in snout length, head depth, and eye position. Findings provide a non‐invasive baseline for conservation monitoring.

Korelasi antara Kadar Neutrophil Gelatinase Associated Lipocaline Urin dengan Laju Filtrasi Glomerulus pada Variasi Waktu untuk Mendeteksi Dini Gangguan Ginjal Akut pada Anak Sepsis

open access: yesSari Pediatri, 2019
Latar belakang. Sepsis dapat menimbulkan gangguan fungsi ginjal. Neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocaline urine (NGALu) merupakan penanda biologis baru lebih cepat dibandingkan laju filtrasi glomerulus (LFG) untuk deteksi dini gangguan ginjal akut ...

The influence of metaboreflex activation on pulmonary pressure with combined chemoreflex activation in acute and chronic hypoxia

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Activation of both the metaboreflex via post‐exercise circulatory occlusion and the chemoreflex via acute and chronic hypoxia increased pulmonary artery systolic pressure. Coactivation of these reflexes further increased pulmonary artery pressure in an additive manner.

On the adaptive significance of group III/IV muscle afferent feedback for the cardiovascular response during sustained locomotion in humans

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Group III/IV leg muscle afferent feedback has previously been recognized as an important determinant of the cardiovascular response to exercise lasting <5 min. Here we demonstrate that the activity of these neurons is crucial in regulating central and peripheral haemodynamic responses during steady state exercise of longer ...
