L’acronimo LGBTQIA+ designa tutte le persone che per orientamento sessuale, identità e/o espressione di genere, caratteristiche anatomiche non aderiscono agli standard del binarismo cisessuale e dell’eterosessualità. Esso conferisce quindi coesione ai movimenti delle minoranze sessuali, veicolando l’idea che esse costituiscano un unico gruppo sociale.
