Evaluation of LH*LH for a Multicomputer Architecture [PDF]
Scalable, distributed data structures can provide fast access to large volumes of data. In this paper, we present a simulation study in which the performance behaviour of one of these data structures, called LH*LH, is evaluated for a multicomputer architecture.

Linear Hashing is a widely used and efficient version of extensible hashing. A distributed version of Linear Hashing is LH* that stores key-indexed records on up to hundreds of thousands of sites in a distributed system. LH* implements the dictionary data structure efficiently since it does not use a central component for the key-based operations of ...

Temporal relationship of the prolactin‐dependent LH‐induced LH receptor to the LH stimulus
Journal of Cellular Physiology, 1988AbstractThe time course for LH induction of luteinizing hormone (LH) receptors as reflected in binding of 125l‐labeled hCG was investigated in hypophysecto‐mized adult male rats. A low dose of oLH (10 μg) was administered to hypophysectomized adult male rats following pretreatments with prolactin, follicle‐stimulating hormone (FSH), growth hormone (GH),

In this article the role of LH receptor gene mutations in patients with aberrant sex differentiation is discussed. In a dominant autosomal familial form of precocious puberty in boys (familial male-limited precocious puberty) LH receptor gene mutations have been identified.
