Maintenance of Remission After Tocilizumab Withdrawal in Patients With Glucocorticoid‐Dependent Polymyalgia Rheumatica

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective The SEMAPHORE trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of tocilizumab (TCZ) treatment in patients with glucocorticoid (GC)‐dependent polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). TCZ reduced GC dose and disease activity at week 24. This study aimed to assess relapse rates after stopping TCZ treatment in patients achieving remission at week 24.

Four tops for LHC

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2017

Associated production of J/ψ and direct photon in the parton Reggeization approach

open access: yesВестник Самарского университета: Естественнонаучная серия
We study the associated J/ψ and direct photon production in the high energy factorization, as it is formulated in the parton Reggeization approach, using two different models for the hadronization of a heavy quark-antiquark pair into a heavy quarkonium ...

Probing proton structure at the Large Hadron electron Collider

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2019
For the foreseeable future, the exploration of the high-energy frontier will be the domain of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Of particular significance will be its high-luminosity upgrade (HL-LHC), which will operate until the mid-2030s.

3D sensors for the HL-LHC

open access: yes, 2016
In order to increase its discovery potential, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) accelerator will be upgraded in the next decade. The high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) period demands new sensor technologies to cope with increasing radiation fluences and particle

The Quest for the Quark‐Gluon Plasma From the Perspective of Dynamical Models of Relativistic Heavy‐Ion Collisions

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The physics of heavy‐ion collisions is one of the most exciting and challenging directions of science for the last four decades. On the theoretical side one deals with a non‐abelian field theory, while on the experimental side today's largest accelerators are needed to enable these studies.

GASTOF: Ultra-fast ToF forward detector for exclusive processes at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
GASTOF (Gas Time-of-Flight) detector is a Cherenkov detector proposed for very precise (10--20 ps) arrival time measurements of forward protons at some 420 m from the central detectors of CMS and ATLAS.
