Anodes for Li-Ion Batteries

2016
The active elements for negative (anode) electrodes are reviewed here according to the following sequence. First, the carbon anode is considered, since almost all the Li-ion batteries on the market are presently equipped with graphitic carbon. Then the next elements of the Mendeleev table (Si, Ge, …) are considered.

Batteries Li-ion - Conception théorique

Chimie verte, 2009
La production d’energie consiste a convertir une forme particuliere d’energie en un courant electrique. La batterie Li-ion fait partie des dispositifs dont la fonction est de recuperer une energie produite par une reaction electrochimique afin de la transformer.

Introduction to Li-ion Batteries

2016
This chapter highlights the importance and principle of Lithium ion batteries (LIBs) along with a concise literature survey highlighting the research trend on the different components of LIBs namely, cathode, anode and electrolyte. The aims of the present study and the thesis outline are given at the end of the chapter.

Solid State Li-ion Batteries

2013
Abstract : Over the last one year, we have worked on an all-solid-state Li-ion battery and demonstrated a specific energy of 225 mWh g-1 based upon the combined mass of both the composite anode and cathode. To realize this full cell, we pair an iron sulfide and sulfur composite cathode with a Si-based anode.
