Intrapore‐Structuring Nanocolloids Mediating Solvation and Interfaces in Lithium Metal Batteries
Li metal batteries (LMBs) offer high energy density but suffer from Li dendrite growth and unstable solid–electrolyte interphase (SEI). Beyond conventional liquid systems, nanocolloid electrolytes (NCEs) incorporating insoluble nanoparticles dispersed in

Glycerol-plasticized agarose separator suppressing dendritic growth in Li metal battery
The growth of dendrite is the major limitation to the development of the Li-metal battery. To solve it, we disclose the preparation and performances of separator (MAGly) with a complete "green" formulation using biosourced and sustainable compounds: agarose as biopolymer along with glycerol as plasticizing agent.

Relationship Between Neurologic Symptoms and Signs and FMR1 Genotype in Premutation Carriers
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Fragile X‐associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS) is the most severe late‐onset condition caused by a premutation in the FMR1 gene, characterized by expanded CGG triplet repeats of 55–200. Clinical presentations of FXTAS, including gait ataxia, kinetic tremor, cognitive decline, and rare Parkinsonism, are linked to ...

Objective The objective of this study was to describe the longitudinal disease course and pulmonary outcomes of North American patients with melanoma differentiation–associated protein 5 (MDA5) antibody–associated dermatomyositis (DM). Methods Thirty patients with MDA5 antibody–associated DM were identified in a single‐center longitudinal cohort of 352

Optimal sizes of dendritic and axonal arbors in a topographic projection
I consider a topographic projection between two neuronal layers with different densities of neurons. Given the number of output neurons connected to each input neuron (divergence) and the number of input neurons synapsing on each output neuron ...

A combined finite element and phase‐field approach predicts the evolution of microstructure during the directional solidification of Ni‐based superalloys. The model reveals how withdrawal rate, temperature gradient, and wall thickness control the dendrite spacing, highlighting the strong effect of surface regions in thin sections where dendrite growth ...

This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...
