TTX‐S/TTX‐R Na+ Currents Coordinately Fine‐Tune Depolarization/Firing Capability Revealed by Voltage Derivatives/Displacement Current Phase Plots With Dynamic Current‐Clamp Simulation in Rat Visceral Sensory Neurons

open access: yesActa Physiologica, Volume 242, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim To investigate how tetrodotoxin‐sensitive (TTX‐S) and tetrodotoxin‐resistant (TTX‐R) Na+ channels coordinately fine‐tune action potential (AP) depolarization and firing capability in rat nodose visceral sensory neurons. Methods APs were recorded by ruptured‐patch current clamp in unmyelinated C‐type and myelinated Ah‐type neurons from ...

Digital Technology Adoption and Subjective Well‐Being in China: Evidence of Heterogeneous Effects Across Urban and Rural Contexts

open access: yesGrowth and Change, Volume 57, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper examines whether and how digital technology adoption affects subjective well‐being in China, and investigates the heterogeneous effects across urban‐rural, regional, income, and gender dimensions. Using nationally representative data from the 2022 China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) comprising 9439 individuals across 25 provinces, we ...

“Leftover” or Flourishing? Gender Differences in Well‐Being Among Chinese Singles

open access: yesPersonal Relationships, Volume 33, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Individuals not in romantic relationships (i.e., singles) represent an emerging focus in close relationship research. Gender has been recognized as an important demographic variable in understanding singles' experiences, with some existing Western literature suggesting that single women report higher levels of well‐being than single men ...

Cluster‐Mediated Solute Stabilization and Shear‐Bypass Synergistic Strengthening in High‐Alloyed Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 25, 4 May 2026.
This study demonstrates that in high‐alloy systems, nanoclusters with high solute tolerance can effectively suppress compositional segregation. This mitigation leads to a concurrent 18.7% increase in strength and 41.5% improvement in ductility, which is attributed to a shear‐bypass synergistic strengthening mechanism. The findings provide a new pathway
