A giant insulator to metal transition and emergent superparamagnetism are revealed by nanoparticle exsolution in non‐stoichiometric titanate perovskite thin films. By combining transport, synchrotron spectroscopy, and first‐principles calculations, this work reveals how defect reconfiguration and lattice reconstruction fundamentally reshape electronic ...

Density‐driven differential sedimentation fractionates solution‐assembled P3HT nanowires into crystalline and disordered constituents. High‐resolution cryo‐TEM directly visualizes the molecular chain packing within individual nanowires in real space, and recombining the fractions programs the mobility–stretchability trade‐off without chemical ...

Bridging Biosensing and Hardware‐Level Data Security With a Conjugated Radical Polymer
A conjugated radical polymer provides two complementary functions within a common material platform: sensitive dopamine biosensing and device‐specific stochastic electrical responses for security. The work demonstrates a materials‐based approach for combining bioelectronic signal acquisition with hardware‐level authentication while maintaining the ...

Helicity‐Defined Analog Conductance States in Chiral Perovskite Synapses
Chiral perovskite synapses convert the handedness of circularly polarized light into persistent analog memory during electrical programming. An optimized n = 3 structure combines strong helicity selectivity with low read noise, enabling 72 distinct conductance levels.

Breaking Bottlenecks in Solid Electrolyte Discovery With Large Artificial Intelligence Models
Large AI models are presented as a route to break key bottlenecks in solid electrolyte discovery by linking materials databases, machine‐learning interatomic potentials, large language models, and autonomous experiments. This perspective highlights how AI can accelerate the identification of solid electrolytes with fast ion transport, stable interfaces,

Robust Spin Splitting and Fermiology in the Layered Altermagnet CoNb4${\rm CoNb}_4$Se8${\rm Se}_8$
The emergence of an altermagnetic phase is demonstrated in the cobalt‐intercalated superconducting 2H‐NbSe2 polymorph. A combined theoretical and experimental approach directly probes the magnetism, the altermagnetic lifting of Kramers degeneracy, and the electronic phase space, establishing CoNb4Se8 as the first g‐wave altermagnetic layered material ...

Remote catalytic dehydrogenation enables the direct growth of monolayer amorphous carbon on a 2‐inch sapphire wafer by thermal CVD. Spatial separation of the catalyst from the growth substrate eliminates metallic residue and post‐growth processing, yielding a wafer‐scale uniform film with a random polygonal sp2‐hybridized carbon network that exhibits ...

Legitimating Liberal Democracy
In this chapter we ask just how well in theory, and more importantly, in present practice, liberal democracy measures up to the legitimation challenge. We raise the disquieting suggestion that it is not doing very well.

Ferroionic‐Assisted, Charge‐Driven Polymorphic Phase Engineering for Multilevel Memristive Devices
A CuInP2S6/Mo0.92W0.08Te2 heterostructure enables a gradual semiconductor‐to‐semimetal phase transition through Cu+ ion migration and charge accumulation. The spatially engineered 2H/1T′ mixed phases produce continuously tunable conductance states in a two‐terminal geometry, while suppressing depolarizing fields and stabilizing the metastable 1T′ phase.
